What We Did


Ubisoft wanted to do something completely unique for their launch of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. We proposed a never-before-seen, 4-hour live stream portraying a digital hack of the fictitious in-game organization, SkellCon. Delivered from concept to execution in just six weeks, the event played out on Twitch, capturing a global audience. The experience included immersive storytelling, interactive videos with clues, and deep integration of the Ghost Recon universe.

How do you create buzz for a brand new game in an already legendary franchise? With Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Ubisoft faced the challenge of igniting excitement among a seasoned fanbase. They needed a standout idea — not another conventional teaser. So, we created a pulse-pounding, fully immersive live event to take fans deep into the world of Ghost Recon and build anticipation for the game's announcement.

Executing the Mission


Partnering closely with Ubisoft, we transformed the traditional teaser into an action-packed live experience. The 4-hour Twitch stream featured a faux digital hack of SkellCon, bringing to life the Ghost Recon world in a compelling way. Viewers followed the CIA as they traced a hacker through locations only the most dedicated fans would recognize, leading up to Breakpoint's setting on the fictitious island of Auroa. We created a convincing website and live cam feeds that added authenticity, including an Easter egg for die-hard fans: a hidden reveal of Colonel Cole D. Walker's face. This strategy not only built excitement but also deepened fan engagement with the Ghost Recon universe.
